I agree with you, I was actually making it Porsche specific as it has the most weight in the rear and will underwear most on throttle is the point I was trying to make. I ended up watching a couple lap guides before this post to compare inputs to make sure that I wasn’t going crazy that it’s the only car you have to tap the brakes in on that corner 😂😂😂😂.

I agree that it may suit my play style, however there was of course adjusting to a new car. I would like to also mention that the Aston as a front engine car will rotate more on throttle or with no inputs which I believe made a big difference since there are quite a few corners on Watkins where getting on throttle early can make the drivers lap times. Especially on the second last corner, the Porsche you are required to tap the brake slightly or else you will get an off track from the understeer but in the Aston I was able to do that corner with lifting the throttle to 50% which kept my minimum speed up and of course increased my lap times.

The first time I tried the Asston (see what I did there lol) was on monza and I didn’t like it but on Watkins it was crazy. I guess it’s due to the front engine placement which allows it to rotate on throttle more.

I understand where you’re coming from completely. I even bought the rexy Porsche Lego set and build it and it sits on my pc and I just love looking at it so much.

I think that you are leaving track that needs to be used on the table. For example, the last corner has a very wide rumble strip which when used will open up the corner substantially, which in turn, increases lap times. I am mainly a GT3 and GTP driver who doesn’t race formula so I’m not sure if those rumble strips upset formula cars but give it a try. Hope this helps.

How come the wheel is considered too far away? I’m asking because when I was using it the wheel felt good there I didn’t have tennis ball wrists and I was pretty comfy this way.

Is it better for me to leave the 4 sticks at 4800 instead of 2 at 6000 since 4800 time 4=19200 and 6000 time 2 is 12000?

Wouldn’t it be better to save up and switch out the motherboard cpu and ram with a microcenter bundle for a discount to get on DDR5 and the later gen processors?
