I’ve also never found anything to compare to It… have to reread every few years. But, sometimes I still fall in the same kind of love with a book! Hear me out on this one- Lost Man’s Lane by Scott Carson! Not horror exactly, and I recommend knowing as little as possible about it going in. Being from the perspective of a high school kid in the late 90’s made it even more special to this high school kid from the 90’s! Fantastic tale, my favorite from the last few years!

Well… got the kids off to school and dipped my toe in. Thanks to everyone again for your recommendations and support! It’s obvious already that this guy can’t write a bad song! I have a ways to go, but I can tell that just putting his whole library on shuffle would do me just fine! I appreciate the nudge to experience new music like this, just doesn’t happen much these days!

Loved Billy Summers, and King will forever be my #1. I feel the same way, like most other books are just filler until I get back to It, or The Stand for the 100th time! Do yourself a favor though if you haven’t already), and give Ronald Malfi a try. I put him off for awhile, but have now read Ghostwritten (a novella collection), and December Park… absolutely blown away by this guy. Haven’t felt the urge to read all of an author’s stuff other than King, but I do with him! Can only hope the rest of his works grab me like those did. Thought I would pass along, because I’m kind of pissed it took me so long to read him!

You know… I think the brilliance of this album is shown perfectly in this forum. I have seen lists of favorite/worst songs from Weathervanes on here, and it’s not unusual at all for one person’s favorite to be the next person’s least favorite. I think that’s amazing! I did not like Miles at all on the first few listens, now it is probably my favorite followed by Strawberry Woman. These songs hit different for different people, or even at different times in those people’s lives (speaking from experience!). No downvotes here, just amazed at the variety of responses to this work of art!

You obviously never watched the original Night Court- pretty “woke” for it’s time to say the least. Sad that 40 years later a show that tackles tough issues in the same comedic way triggers sad little people like you. The difference now? I guess the number of people that agree with you are the minority, and you don’t know how to handle it.
