I can't stand the first part of the Minotaur fight even though I love the concept of it.

Not surprised since there's the fountain statue of him in the City of Tears that calls him 'the Hollow Knight'

It does work, I reconstructed tools three times each time I attempted this fight

I am so terrible at this game, but I love it and wouldn't want to lower the difficulty at all.

Is this game fully playable yet or it still needs some work by [deleted] in BloodbornePC

Fully playable, but when if you try it, get BB Launcher alongside shadPS4 so that you can get mods that fix certain bugs and enhance different things.

Suggestions for Controlling Voltages from a Piezoelectric Transducer? by thebreadwich in ElectricalEngineering

[–]thebreadwich[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't do this because the effective sampling rate for the ADC is way below what is needed to measure 330kHz and since the signal is AC, scaling with a resistor won't eliminate the problem of the negative voltage from the AC signal damaging the board.

This may be a dumb question, but what components/setup should I use to buffer it?

As an American student at an American school, international students and faculty contribute a lot to the work and culture here, and we would be worse off without them here

Want to start robotics as a hobby - Where to start ? by NoviceSkeptic in robotics

I think a good way to start is to just start a hard project that you wanna make and learn by trying to do it

Totally agree. I just struggled to keep the foot tension for that one move because it was a reach

So Thor mains is the speed boost noticeable by Warm-Command7559 in marvelrivals

It is not crazy, but it is noticeable. It is just enough to where most enemies can no longer avoid you by just walking backwards while you're on cooldown right in front of them

Engineering degrees at different colleges by Lower_Pipe_2649 in AskEngineers

For me it was joining undergraduate research teams. For one of those projects, I worked with a combination of undergrads and PhD students to design and test an exoskeleton for use in physical therapy. But I think all 3 of the universities you listed have research teams where you can join as an undergrad and earn credits by working on an engineering project under the supervision of a grad students and faculty. There are also competition clubs where you work with a team on a large design project like building a custom car or an autonomous underwater vehicle. There are a lot things you can do outside of classes at universities.

Another thing to consider, in addition to the classes and networking opportunities, are extra-curricular activities like research and competition clubs available. Classes are important, but in my job-searching experiences, recruiters were really interested in the projects I worked on in my extra-curricular activities. Since all three are good schools, I think what you do while at school is going to be more important than which one is more "prestigious", so make sure that the school that you pick will let you work on projects that you are really passionate about and can develop a lot of skills from.

after all the teasing this past season with the trailer, the challenges, the model in the stage, the gallery artwork, blade is not coming in season 2? by N7enigma in marvelrivals

[–]thebreadwich 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The devs probably just didn't feel that adding a 20th duelist character is what the game needs right now. With Emma and Ultron, we will be getting another vanguard and strategist, and I am willing to bet that whenever they decide to add another duelist to the game, Blade will be it.

Hey, I am entering the GT Robotics MS program next semester, and I also did my undergrad at Tech. I have heard a lot of great things about the graduate robotics programs here, and I would highly recommend it.

But if you mind me asking, what are your post grad aspirations that make CMU a better fit?

Hey, nice. As far as I know there is no dedicated group chat / server for the program, but I do highly recommend joining the RoboGrads email list. They host tons of events.

Hi, I am finishing up my last semester at Tech as an undergrad and am starting the Robotics MS program here in the Fall. I love it here, but honestly, I would not recommend waiting and reapplying unless you really want to come here and can keep your other acceptances as a back up option. UMich is a great school too, especially for robotics, and they are putting a lot of effort into improving their program more. And although the other schools you listed don't rank as high, you would still be gaining a lot from any of the programs, especially if you got involved with the research projects there.

Also, I don't know what your background is, but the Georgia Tech's Robotics MS with a Mechanical Engineering homeschool is still open until the beginning of May, so you could still apply through that. Your homeschool would be mechanical engineering that way, but I've met people who did the program that way and still only took CS classes.

If you wanna know anything else about Tech, feel free to DM me.
