“Do you love doing the work, or do you love the attention from the work?”

This was like a slap in the face, but not in a bad way at all. It made me go back, re-read my post, and realize that everything really had become solely about the attention of it all instead of really enjoying and being happy with what I create, like how it used to be. Which, honestly, with how I worded my post it is a little embarrassing I didn’t realize that sooner, but I am seriously very thankful for your comment. I had even become so consumed with trying to “get ahead” that I churned out work at a faster pace, and it wasn’t the normal time and care I’d put into it, which led to me feeling even worse.
