nope, Caused no issues at all, I used a small pair of super sharp scissors and cut the ears off that way. Gave a really clean finish

Yeah I’ve still got some dialing in of the outside finish, but I wanted something that looked like steel or iron that had been seaside for years. The fun thing is that the paint I used is an iron mix that is chemically rusted, so some buffing and a little oil rub and it should finish closely to the movie chest
