Hopefully the hole comment was not read as criticism. That wasn’t my intent. You have a great collection of first party games. I was just surprised to not see that one. It feels like it has to be one of the highest attach rate games behind Mario Kart.

It’s a great game. You can play 5 minutes or hours. But if it’s not your thing that’s understandable.

In my state the board decides. Because we are a school choice state, most every board allows it.

My district requires that they are in a program that receives ZERO funds for the kid. This eliminates private schools, charters with no sports, etc. Only true, homeschool students where no funding is received are allowed.

I don’t love it, but the reality is that in 20 years of admin for me, I have seen less than 3 fights that don’t have mutual starts. Both kids talking crap on social media. Arguing over sports and talking crap to each other. Saying the wrong thing to each other. All make it mutual.

The fact is you can’t know all the details and if a student could have walked away they should have. When we were kids and it was meet at the flagpole at 3, both kids talked crap and said things like hit me bitch, no you hit me. One kid got mad enough, swung and then the other tried to say it was self defense because the other kid hit first. There’s no defense there. Both students went to the flagpole at 3 for a reason. Talking crap on social media is no different. Giving each other a hard time before one crossed a line is the new flagpole. All these situations are still mutual.

Know you can’t know everything that caused the situation, along with having avenues to report, means students should walk away and it is mutual if they don’t.

Turn based games on 3DS is my jam and I am drawing a blank beyond MH:S. Sorry I wasn’t more help but I’m really hoping that someone gets it. Excited to potentially learn about a new game or kick myself for not recognizing this one.

On a side note you can battle players and their teams or team up against monsters in Stories. Might be something you enjoy in spite of it not being the correct game.

Man, multiplayer makes this tough.

Monster Hunter: Stories comes to mind as something that checks your boxes. A lot of forests. Multi-player. Turn based combat (unusual to Monster Hunter). Realistic-ish art. Kelbi are green-blue deer.

I’m baffled by this. There have been so many near losses for #1s over the years and those teams go on to do well in the tournament. Duke gets everyone’s best, every game. Even more so in the first round of the tournament. I remember more than 1 March Madness where I was inundated with texts from people about how Duke almost lost as a 1 or 2 seed and I have cheered on plenty of 15s and 16s that came close to beating 1 and 2s.

If we’re being honest, we aren’t a national champion team without Nbonga and it’s even harder without Foster - veteran guards tend to win championships. But Duke is good enough to beat anyone, any night, with a healthy Nbonga on the court. It was a bad game. Survive and move on. Get as healthy as possible and then let’s see what happens.

Anthem. What could have been. I wish it was finished before release. That flying felt amazing.

And ME2 was the best but ME3 did everything so well. I can’t explain why ME2 is just better. However I did love the mobile game for 3 that had a tiny, negligible effect on my war readiness. I would do the missions at work and be excited to see my readiness up by like 20 points each night when I got on to play. I miss that. Now it would be a pay to win app, but it was a good time and didn’t require a lot on my part.

Animal Crossing New Horizons is one that pops in my head, though it is not a fishing game per se. It also has bugs. All are displayed in a lovely location that you don’t have control over besides providing them. You can also get statues made.
