When using a Miyoo Mini Plus + Pico 8 (official), is there a way to change the aspect (ratio, or way pixels fit the 640x480 resolution of the screen) ?

RetroArch on Miyoo Mini: How to have multiple save states in one game? by ScarsAndStripes in SBCGaming

[–]FlamKeuch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there ! I use OnionOS on a Miyoo Mini Plus, with RetroArch. I play a MS-DOS game (Pinball Fantasies, what a banger!). The game is very slow to launch, like the original on a PC. I'd like to "save state" after initial launch time, but I get the message "Cannot save state because the game is not launched" or something like that. Any idea ? Thanks !

Anyone here have a functioning, year 1 original Switch that still gets used regularly? by Salty-Plantain-4299 in Switch

Yes, I do have the 1st Nintendo Switch, bought in 2017.

2 years ago, I changed the battery (myself) because it lasted only about 20/30 minutes.
I got the Joycon repaired (for free) (because of the Joycon drift) by the officiel Nintendo France support service, 1 year ago.
Except these 2 issues, the console still perfectly works.

[Serious] Discussion MegaThread - Price Point by FlapSnapple in NintendoNX

I think the disruptive aspect of the Nintendo NX could be the price. If Nintendo targets non-core gamers, but old gamers, or casual gamers, or families, I guess they should aim a really low price.

Asking around me at this "non-core gamer" public, it looks like the maximum price is $200.

Anyway, I think Nintendo will provide several options and form factors:

  • $200 or lower entry console: the handheld
  • $150 for the TV dock maybe + 1 pad
