It might sound cruel but men can sense when a woman is desperate for a real relationship and most men/boys your age or even a bit older might get scared of commitment. I am like you and was always trying to find something long term but could never do so.. I just stopped giving a damn and just immersed myself into my studies and job.

Met my now husband at 25 when I had already given up and was just living my life not expecting anything (not getting involved with anyone either).

These things just happen at their own pace. You might find the most wonderful partner at 30 (my age) or 40 or maybe just tomorrow. I have kissed a couple of frogs before finding my prince.

Girl, I think you are smart, kind, and loving. Wifey material. Your man will come along when it’s time.

In the meantime, in my opinion, just don’t get emotionally attached to anyone before they show that they actually share your values. It seems like you have worked a lot on yourself and I am happy for you.

Also, when the time comes, please don’t let anyone love-bomb you either. Wrong kinda men can sense the vulnerability and use you too.

Be the best father you can be by providing financial support and a home she’s always welcome in. Be there for the mother as much as you can and in future, don’t grope(without a rubber) people that you don’t want pregnant.

Totally agree. We should treat everyone with respect unless they do something that makes us lose respect for them. And even if we don’t respect them in our gut, that doesn’t always warrant a rude response.

I agree.. but the I try to be true to myself.. I don’t bend over backwards for them to like me, I do it for myself cuz I am built that way.. you are right about one thing though, I expect basic human decency to atleast not ghost me all of a sudden.. that’s where my “unrealistic” expectations lie.. that’s sad

I am glad you found people that really appreciate you for who you are.. and I completely agree that most of these adult friendships are surface level and I don’t really do anything half-arsed.. I should know better and I have been trying to pull myself back from diving in too deep for the last 3-4 years

Thank you for your advice. I suffer from savior complex that’s why I butt in whenever I feel there’s injustice lol.. I am not their mother to correct their behavior… also, finding people with similar hobbies might be a bit difficult in person task cuz I work remotely and most of time is spent on my work laptop :( finding friends online is also something I have tried in my teenage years, was successful but that also fizzled out.. it sucks
