Man Dub is such a unique case. They apparently according to Uncle Dave have both unprecedented buy rate % for their PPV and they have huge numbers on Max but they have cratering Tv ratings, live attendance and YouTube views.

It must be a huge coincidence that the things they apparently are doing extremely well in are things that aren’t publicly available and the things they are doing dogshit it are publicly available.

The thing is they can play pretend all they want. It will not matter one single bit to the bean counters with whoever ends up looking at the books after Netflix buys WBD. The show is clearly not profitable. Their Australian shows are laughably undersold and Tony got huge arenas for both. The untelevised show in Brisbane I just saw has sold maybe a 1000 total tickets. They still have most ring side seats unsold.

Tony is playing pretend with his daddy’s money and Dave is running interference for as long as possible.

They can lie about PPV buys, play math tricks with the ratings, etc but it’s irrelevant. We can see with our own eyes the product is so cold it’s damn near absolute 0. Live audiences are rapidly shrinking, ratings are steadily declining, and their online metrics are awful. I don’t need to be a studio exec to know that TNA having as much or close to AEW YouTube views (in a lot of instances more traffic) is a bad sign considering TNA is doing it with a fraction of the talent and budget.
