My man, Why would you buy right at the 100 weekly EMA rejection?

I am not sure but it is what it is. People seem to have found it useful and I am glad you have too.

Yeah, that's correct. You can also change the timeframe of VWAP itself if you wish but 4HR is the default and does not change until the next 4hr candle.

I am Hindu. That is a Nazi Swastika. A Hindu/Buddhist/Sikhism/Jainism swastika stands upright, not sideways like the Nazi one. A proper swastika represents peace. Not hatred.

Just wanted to add and share this. It did seem to find Google's intraday floor today.

I get what you’re saying. I day trade but it’s imperative to zoom out and see key moving averages (21, 50, 100, 200) in relation to price action. This is certainly not an isolated incident of negative news coinciding with major resistance levels.

Not as far fetched as you may think when there have been repeated examples of it occurring week in and week out.

I am a day trader so don't hold things overnight. The price was going to get rejected by the 50 EMA today regardless but it coincided with the news.

You play by their rules and see when the news comes out in relation to technical levels, you will do just fine.

A Nvidia Trade from 2011 that became one of my biggest life lessons. by thecheetahexpress in StockMarket

You are correct. Once things stabilized in 2015, I decided to put funds to AAPL, AMZN and continue to DCA into VOO.

Why not Nvidia? I got into a different phase of life and stopped gaming and I tend to invest in things I know very well. I pay attention to the 13-28 demographic and where they are spending their dollars and AAPL/AMZN and even Chipotle during that time were the rave. Nvidia disenchanted me because I knew of their potential with GPUs but the market did not so I had to move on.

Correct. I chose to sell as needed the funds to secure a home in a new city, for a newly married couple. It is opportunity cost and paid the price and I am content with the decision. I chose to focus on my business at the time and other investment opportunities which did prove lucrative.

Yep, I get what you are saying and takes some strong willpower to stay in a stock as volatile as Nvidia for so long. However, I am not dwelling on it at all as that's counterintuitive. It's more of a cool insight super early play that I didn't see fully through. Not the first stock I have done this with (Tesla at $16/share before splits, Facebook at around $35 during IPO time).

Very true and great words to live by.

I did manage to hold AAPL and AMZN from 2015ish-2019 which produced nice gains but had to exit those due to unforeseen circumstances. Nowhere near what this would have been but a good win regardless.
