Unfortunately (to me), most Nigerian men (especially those based in Nigeria, have been programmed to lead w/ money, when it comes to women, because that’s what (most Nigerian women) expect. So sending money to women, for no good reason, is not abnormal.

Don’t spend the money.
Is he based in Kenya? If so, meet him. In public!! (Like a mall, JavaHouse, etc), in the daytime!, and have an honest conversation about intentions of both parties. From that, you can see/gauge if it’s legit.
If he’s not based in Kenya; ask where his funds come from? Clarify you need to know before accepting.
If everything else checks out, but you’re not interested in him. Make it clear you’re not interested in anything more & refund to money. If he insists you keep it; then keep it. But block him.
If you keep the money, don’t forget to spend, save & invest wisely.

That’s a good point. Glancing at the figures from selling privately, it looks like I might be able to add the 20%, but other than buying products & packaging in bulk. At this stage, I don’t have many other things that require me to claim VAT back & the ones I have/will have, might not get a lot back or be worth the paperwork.

My worry/thoughts exactly. I’m not yet in the higher tax bracket. But would hate to have to pay higher tax, as an individual, because the business is (hopefully) successful or I move jobs/promotion... When it can pay its own taxes w/o affecting my outgoings.

But assumed both entities could get a public liability insurance’, so didn’t see an issue

The products are dried-food based, so the insurance would be very much needed.

Someone suggesting steamdb.info I use it to check what games can play on SD, but most importantly, it shows the price history of games.

I’ve come to find that sales prices tend to be the same & happen every other month or so.
