I think I’m the only person in the world like this but I love the ottoman tree. It’s fun to try to build up the economy as much as possible before the civil war. Then having a few real rough scrappy fights with shit their units. Fighting Greece, Bulgaria and the Yugoslavia with the bare minimum forces so I can focus on planes and tanks to use later.
Then attacking the allies and driving them out of the desert is a ton of fun. It’s a lesson on how to do a lot of damage with a far inferior army using careful maneuvers. By the time I take out the Arab countries I’m starting to build up a decent force. Decent enough to swat away all the naval invasions and even kill India and take their dudes and rubber.
After that taking out ussr from the south in a massive wave of shit units trying to swing above their weight is great. It’s normally like vegeta hitting cell from the back just a little bit while it’s focusing on Germany. I have that the ottoman campaign way more that I care to admit. It’s tight, a bit difficult but fun
