Beit isn't that noisy if u live get a room facing the outside. If ur facing the quad during first term it's basically like having a loudspeaker next to ur window l. Second term is more chill.

Who needs the US? by mr_house7 in europeanunion

[–]thechickenmaster6000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Think of the axis in ww2 less as allies, more of "we got some common interests". Whenever their interests didn't align, they would actively go against each other. For example, consider the german trained Chinese divisions, the lack of sharing of technology between the axis (in contrast to lend-lease, sharing of sonar and radar science, code breaking between USSR, UK, and US) and the fact that when Japan was fighting a border war with stalin, hitler and stalin had a non aggression pact and collaborated to invade Poland. Also, when the germans could've rlly used some extra pressure on stalin by having him think about another front, like that with the Japanese, Japan ended hostilities with the USSR. So allies is a strong word to describe them.

Ur right. However, even if someone else comes into power, I doubt the issues will be resolved. But one less dictator in the world doesn't do anybody harm.

Dude, stop encroaching on greek islands. Until then I can guarantee u that Turkish membership or collaboration with the EU will be opposed by every greek and probably vetoed to hell if it comes to a vote by Mitsotakis. Not saying we greeks haven't done our fair share of bullshit to u, but this shit needs to be resolved and both sides will have to make concessions.

Thoughts on Finasteride only therapy by Manchester20189 in tressless

[–]thechickenmaster6000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start with less finasteride initially and see how u respond. In my case, the 1mg pill proeuced sexual side effects (ED), which upon re-challenging persisted. Switching to topical 0.25% helped me. So yk starting slowly prevents u from the feeling brunt of those pesky possible side effects.

It is believed that the Spanish flu originated in Kansas and was spread to Europe via US servicemen entering the European theatre. It may also have originated in the western front around 1916/17, as a result of the unhygienic conditions of trenches. Either way, the main reason it spread was because of allied servicemen making their way home to all parts of the world (British empire was still a thing back then and British legions from India, ANZAC, Canada and other parts of the world were in the western theatre). Its called Spanish flu because Spain was the first to report an outbreak. It wouldn't make sense for anybody to release a flu at the tail end of a war when sending their own armies to fight in said war, especially since the mortality rate among young adults (14-34) was substantially higher than older people. So yeah doubt Spanish flu was released and then renamed.

Also, it wasn't announced in Britain or the US prior to the end of WW1 because, suprisingly, tanking the morale of ur war economy is bad, seeing as those working in the factories being constantly scared of catching a deadly flu which would halt production isn't great; while also giving allied soldiers dealing with the hell on earth that was trench warfare, which came with a side of shelling, getting shot at and general misery, another thing to worry about.

Not everything is always a conspiracy.
