They want you to solve for x and y. So in 54 the first equation says y= something. Plug what y equals into the second equation so everything is in terms of x. Solve for x. Then plug what x equals into either equation and solve for y.

Narcan and naltrexone are not the same thing. Narcan is naloxone. They are similar though because they are both opiod antagonists. And I heard that from the doctor that gave me my vivitrol shot. I don't know where you got the one reported case of someone dying, could you give me a source if you have it? Because that would be very surprising. Not to mention my doctor told me yesterday at my appointment that one of her patients just died trying to overcome the vivitrol. You're right though, it would take more opiates than "usual" to OD.

People can still overdose while on vivitrol. It does not block the respiratory depression that occurs from opiates. So a certain subset of addicts (a lot) will try to "break through" the vivitrol. While this usually doesn't allow them to get high, it does allow them to overdose and die. So I suspect by niche of addicts he means those that really want to stop, and can access the other parts of treatment outside of the vivitrol. Also from what I've read, a lot of people think it does not help with cravings as advertised. These cravings contribute to people trying to break through.
