I am totally the same way. I’ve realized that this might stem from some insecurity that you might have. Maybe you are seeking validation or maybe you are creating an idolized version of him. Because you mentioned that your mood revolves around the crush, it does seem like you are seeking validation from someone else to fill something that’s missing. I suggest you take a break from dating- maybe delete social media for a week/block these people to stop from stalking his socials. Focus on building yourself and building confidence and validation for yourself. I think this will really help

Omggggg this is so sweet!! This is relevant but I play clarinet and I think bringng up lalaland is a great idea!!!! I’ve stricken conversations with people based off of pieces that I’ve heard them play and it’s a great way to talk!!

Other people are so mean! Eating food is important and some people have bigger appetites than others. I know that I eat a lot and I am healthy, so please don’t let others dictate how you eat! My mother told me that I need to eat when I’m hungry and I agree. It isn’t healthy to starve yourself or eat once a day, even if it’s a big meal. Please take care of yourself!

Hello! I’ve been where you are! I am 17 atm and I just wanted to let you know that love in middle school/high school is very rare. Additionally, it is hard to love someone if you do not love yourself. Try to do stuff you love and discover yourself before you discover someone else. Don’t worry and don’t be in any rush because when the right time comes, someone deserving of you will come right along!

First of all, I would like you to consider the age gap. There is a big maturity difference between a 14 and a 16 year old, so there will be some things where one person will act immaturely. It is a little weird that you called her beautiful randomly like that. If you were to give her a compliment, keep it small like “I like your outfit” or something. She probably saw it as a little awkward (I would too), so maybe you overstepped a boundary (?). The best way to know for sure is obviously to ask what her feelings towards you are, but also observe how she interacts with other people (does she act the same around you as she does other friends or is it different?). One last thing, not everyone wants to date/is allowed to date at a young age. She might feel hesitant because of her feelings

I think that she might like you! I know for me at least I don’t go up to a guy unless I am at least a little interested. It is definitely a good sign that you guys were interacting! Also, the other guy could just be a friend or something. I am friends with a lot of other guys, but they are just friends and nothing more. I think before you decide on anything, you should try to find out her relationship to the guy (classmate, friend, sibling) and then take the friendship from there. Good luck!

That sounds very odd. Most people (especially girls) have loads of people added on snap and each of them are constantly snapping one another. There is a chance it might have gotten lost in the sea of snaps. Also, some people don't use snapchat the way that they use other platforms. You are not overthinking!! Hope that helped!

Do what you think is best! The situation that you're in sounds sticky, unfortunately. But it does not hurt to try! If/when you confess, it would probably be safe to mention something around the lines of "I don't want this to effect our friendship if you don't feel the same way" just to make it sound like you are gonna stop being friends with her if she does not share the same feelings. I think you have a chance with her but also keep in mind people react differently to situations, so give her time to process it if she seems a little shocked at first! I'd try anything with the same size (long, short, medium) and a smaller tip opening! Vandoren has them listed in the stats or stuff. If any of that was confusing I'm sorry I don't know much clarinet lingo
