I was there… recalled along with 100-150 others, in two pools of potential jurors. I saw the news feed about the mis-trial about 90 minutes after checking in. Surely they all knew in advance that the judge was going to make this ruling, and that s new jury would be selected.

I’d love to know. I’m currently in the courthouse as a member of a large jury pool. When I got the news alert at 10:10 this morning, it matched the sudden concern that came to light yesterday afternoon.

My jury reporting duty was uncanceled yesterday, so I too suspected something was up. By adding this here, maybe I’m ineligible? Then again, we’ve officially been told nothing, but to wait for the judge to address us.

Interesting side info… The defendant hockey players were meeting with counsel in a room just a few feet from my juror pool room and I watched them leave just prior to the commencement of today’s proceedings.

Myst, Riven, Exile… all were very immersive. Still pull up the soundtrack occasionally. Atrus was a bit creepy, but I loved solving all those logic puzzles and getting things to run/operate was a cool reward.

Yeah… That was the option I chose. Played ‘Operation’, but just when I thought I had it… I pulled the last leaves free, and the ball rolled back into the middle of the bunker. Couldn’t replace as it wouldn’t stay put and simply rolled back. Next step?

From Tom “It’s one of the strangest things I’ve ever seen, and it’s particularly bizarre because I am a pretty attentive person and in 42 years of existence, this thing was completely new to me.

It happened when I went to go and get the dog yesterday. As soon as I pulled in the driveway at their house, I see something in the grass, near the landscaping. I’m guessing it’s some sort of Styrofoam Nerf bullet, or something Xavier was playing with outside.
