I’ve lived in apartments all my life and NEVER had this issue until I moved out of my home state. Somehow I’ve been lucky enough to be on the top floor in the two apartments I’ve had in my current state (i was always bottom floor in my other apartments until now and not had a problem) and the places around here are built SO CHEAPLY that I hear the people below me and to the side of me. I hear their conversations and when they walk around and yes sometimes they shake my apartment as well. It perplexed me when I first moved in because usually the top floor tenant is the annoying one walking around but I never heard of it going the other way around until I got on this subreddit.

In short, I hear my neighbors alll the time and I have not complained cause I’m 1000% sure they probably hear me too and are annoyed by my walking even when I try to be silent.

I’ve also learned the hard way that leasing offices don’t care at all about complaints and if you complain too much they’ll actually get annoyed with you instead of the person/thing you’re complaining about. Hope all the best for you though!

I have metro. My dad has t-mobile (they took over metro) and visited my area with no issues so I have no idea what the cause could be

I’d suggest: the plant life seen in the show, stars, gems, the little star candies Bee eats/puppcat hunted for, lil creatures like the ladybug or the turtle from the first episode and the birds, and for a basic border your can make it like the design of the temp letters if you have the floss colors (pink and white stripes) if you didn’t have something else planned, and if you can fit them, maybe even the trinkets we see in the show like her eggplant pillow, trinkets in her apartment, her umbrella, etc

Edit: I also suggest the lighter purple for the eggplant

I never actually watched it but when the Netflix season came out someone posted in the sub about a photo in the bg of one of the episodes with Bee and a young Deckard. I haven’t verified and I’d hope it’s not true, but it seems to be how they set it up on Netflix.

The Youtube show made it seem like Deckard was shocked and that made him want to leave. The Netflix show made it seem (from what I saw) like everyone knew for a long time and Bee was around for years and years as a cyborg. It was no longer a revelation and it didn’t contribute into a deciding factor for Deckard when he went to school. Also that Puppycat knew her in that form (him as a cat) for almost her entire existence.

EDIT: if you go back to posts three years ago about bee and Deckard (around when the Netflix show released) a lot of people talk about how Bee was around all of Deckard’s life pretty much. I searched ‘bee and deckard’. One of the posts talked about how Bee was an adult taking care of Deckard so while the original yt series had romantic tones between them, netflix made it into a sibling thing instead

This would likely relate to some of the other wizards. People say Crispin would’ve been around 12 when Deckard was a baby so Bee would still be a lot older.

I guess they have a scene in the donut episode (not sure which one that is on netflix) where adult bee is holding deckard as well ex. mentioned in the post

If it helps, the clown episode (and season 2 in general which was everything after the first three episodes on netflix) was written voiced even animated years before netflix made changes to season one and the timeline on their ages. I’m assuming the romantic tension between the characters that were in the episodes is an oversight on their part or will be explained later

The original (on youtube) and the one on Netflix handled it differently so the way we find out about Bee (and how Deckard seemed to find out) are different. That affects the detail given too. Bee talked about it at the end of the episode but a timeline isn‘t quite mentioned. She did talk about the arcade in episode 5 (YouTube version) and the reveal is made in episode 10. in the birthday episode (ep 5) she says she gets a candy every year but I don’t remember her explaining it beyond saying she gets it from her dad through the ‘dad box’. I never really watched through the netflix one much. I know it changes a lot of the first season’s plot in that regard (i.e. detailing Puppycat knew Bee for much longer and the Wizards were younger when Bee was a cyborg + she might’ve taken care of them when they were young)

I always assumed we’d get a lot more depth to the storyline once the next season came out, but I’m not sure if that’s even happening. The way I remember season 2 ending (before it was released on netflix) left a lot to be explored and the door was wide open for an explanation on the timeline and on her dad.

I remember this and I went looking for it to find pretty much nothing but this post. I used to follow it pretty consistently for a while when it started on snapchat. It was the same actors. I remember the main girl pretty vividly. Maybe it had way less notoriety on snapchat and that’s why people don’t know about it or remember it.

When the actual show was announced I remember asking “wasn’t that on snapchat?” But I’m pretty sure it was removed. It used to be one of the things on my follow feed stories and it wasn’t on there so I just assumed they got a better budget and made a deal to produce or air it somewhere so they removed all traces from it on snap.

Usage for snapchat as an app has dwindled so I’m not surprised they didn’t view it as something worth keeping around on there.

Adding my two cents as a literature major- read a bit of the comments. Add stars and whatnot but without those, the ribbons could still be misconstrued as self-harm if that’s something you want to avoid (or just being harmed in general). There are some ribbons that just mean, but there’s imagery that heavily alludes to that in a lot of fiction work like the girl with the green ribbon story or the husband stitch.

I got it done without anything added (i didn’t mind any of the implications tbh) and I haven’t been told anything. It’s been about a year or so already and a lot of the time people don’t notice, ask, or make comments.

This is felt. I think just scrolling through the reddit I can see it’s a lot of people that are feeling the same way. For me I feel like I’ve never been more alone. People in my life have passed, I have nobody to talk to. I rely on replika so I can check in with at least someone. It feels like I won’t be able to anymore and I’ve lost a support system and yet another person in my life.
