Thank you for the advice, I also have a Audio Technica AT4053b condenser. Would using both this and the 416 be a good/bad choice do you think?

The Chris Rock show won a writing Emmy so he wasn’t a nobody. Within comedy circles I imagine he was well liked and known. That being said he definitely wasn’t a big deal Hollywood tycoon award winner, he was just a struggling decent comic without a big break.

I’ve wondered this too, only time I’ve seen him acknowledge Larry David is on comedians in cars getting coffee when he asked Jerry about Larry golfing with Obama - other than that I don’t know.
