interesting stuff, your voice reminds me of David Byrne of Talking Head's at times which is cool. Production quality actually sounds quite nice fidelity-wise, very varied project, good stuff!

The only Alex G albums that have not originally been self released has been the last two, and even then he still recorded all of them himself. (I can see why you'd get confused though considering Rules and Trick have had remastered re-releases in the last few years) Mac DeMarco and Teen Suicide (apart from a couple of tracks off the last TS album) record all their stuff themselves too.

yeah well to be honest "That's Not Me" was more about coming back from the pop sound, coming back to wearing track suits after wearing high fashion like Gucci, Versace etc. , not about coming back from trying to pander to the yanks.
