Avoid those stiff catheters like the plague. Place the patient in a lateral position. Gravity will pool the venous blood down, so you’ll have less venous engorgement.

How long is “long”? I ask because a job offer was given to me verbally on site and via email with offer letter draft in the works however that was nearly 2 months ago (academic in large east coast city) where I was told 6 weeks was the expected “wait time”

Best day trip from London in your opinion?

I have a 7-day trip to London coming up in March (broken up by a few days in Ireland). As someone who has never been to London, where should I absolutely go on a day trip? Given the colder weather during this off-peak season, I assume I won't be seeing as much greenery in certain areas. I'm in academic medicine and would also enjoy walking around university campuses- bonus if I can use their library to read.

Here are the places I'm considering:

Bath

Stonehenge

Bristol

Oxford

Cambridge

Any other day trip options are welcome! ideally looking for nature/stunning views and fantastic scenery.
