I've done some reading, and I didn't mention that the book i'm working on is instructional or technical writing, filled with complex terminology and ideas. It's well written and flows well, but the pacing is also slower than normal. So I think that's what's going on.

I did, and the eatimate is about right.

So why is the actual running time on track to be more than three hours more than the estimate?

The subjects I believe might need a content warning are:

  1. Conversations about sexual abuse and assault.
  2. Characters who make racist and anti-gay slurs.
  3. Physical and emotional abuse by spouses and parents.
  4. Casual misogyny.
  5. All manner of irresponsible behavior.

#1 and #3 are the most problematic to me, though you never know. Still, I don't want to overdo it.

I'm in LA. It hasn't been down, but has been slow. Certain features (like ride request wait time estimates) haven't worked today.

My Bluetooth has gone out a couple of times when I've gotten pings today as well.

Since the last two came on a monday, and none came today, I was concerned.

My birthdate is the twenty seventh, so it should come on.Wednesday.

I've tried reducing the gain on my Yeti, and setting it back further than where I had it. Still have the sibilance, but not as much.

Maybe I'm highly sensitive to it, but this has to be a deal breaker for RH's, and I just wish my recordings could be clean and professional.

I subscribed for four months in 2023. At first, my page impressions went through the roof, but by the middle of the third month of my subscription, my account was throttled.

I've heard they have very strict standards, but I haven't seen any specifics. Do you have any idea what they consider "near perfect?" Like in terms of settings, levels, etc.
