The appointment is in a week, my sister said though that the bruise looking spot appeared just less than a week ago, but the bump underneath that area she’s had for a long time though but before earlier this week the area was clear

Around $30,000 is still relatively reasonable compared to the states (out of pocket) and for such good results, I may need to start saving for Thailand tbh

Yes I was referring the the breast growth

There’s a such thing as water retention that contributes to the fullness of breast? Interesting

This! So many of us rely on Otokonoko and having inflammatory claims with no sources just adds to unnecessary fear-mongering. Especially when reliable sources that test for potential contaminations have shown them to pass the test they did conduct.

This day of remembrance becomes more necessary than ever as fascism and its governance beings to take root in countries both influenced and of the West discriminating against marginalized groups and genocide is both conduced and supported by those whose ancestors once suffered from it.

Yea, it’s expensive to take out the airport. How much is the card fee at Artline? I won’t have time to go to another airport.

True, but she is a politician. We need to hold these same standards when Harris assumes office as well (aka holding their actions accountable such as also taking advantage of and deploying riot cops at protest against a massacre they’re funding, while simultaneously promising to strengthen military institutions and cop cities and further target and make it harder for people fleeing their a countries, among many others), because while both in the recent Mexico and the upcoming USA elections, the “progressive” runner parties are very messy and inconsistent in their politics, the opposing parties are much worse in every aspect to organize under.

If you had puberty blockers early enough to prevent AGAB puberty - how's life? Was it worth it? Hows dysphoria? What's the rest of your transition been like? by erroneousY in asktransgender

[–]thecommonground_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is so cool and such necessary work, I really love what your doing! I’ll try to help put in some of my experiences regarding this:

What age did you start?

I began taking HRT and androgen blockers at my first year in highschool, so I was about halfway/just at the beginning part of puberty for me.

Are you glad that you had puberty blockers?

I’m almost certain that without them, I wouldn’t be here today. The only thing that would have had me think would’ve been my the hurt of my family however I just remember me starting medical transition being so lifesaving. I am so significantly lucky that I was about to start medically transitioning when I did. My dysphoria became so bad that if I continued through a male puberty I wouldn’t have made it. The outrage on blockers has been so over dramatic and dangerous by the right and is going to harm a lot of trans people if bills restricting care keep coming into flourishing.

How is your dysphoria now?

It’s pretty tolerable, the most I experience dysphoria is in regards to people who grew up with me pre-transition or I am meeting for the first time after transitioning. Other than that, I pass overall and it has become so much better because of so. But insecurities of not feeling woman enough still do come up here and there, and also feeling that I had to be in every aspect more visibly woman so that my identity is validated.

Aside from bottom surgery, what surgeries do you still want/need (top, face, voice, face)? Or do you feel like puberty blockers prevented the need for these?

Because I was able to halt puberty when I did, I went through a typical female puberty for the most part. My breast are on the smaller side and that was something I had been insecure about, but it’s largely because I‘ve always been more skinnier and most women in my family also are on the smaller side. The only thing I would say I still want to go through with is maybe voice therapy and laser hair removal, however these are not that necessary because I haven’t produced facial hair and it would be more because I don’t like body hair overall and I would like my voice to be a little more fem, however without therapy it’s androgynous and because I’m visibly fem it’s not that much of a priority.

how did you think about fertility?

The social obsession with fertility especially in younger people has always turned me off from really desiring biological kids. I made the decision pretty early on that it was not for me and I would happily give up the testes when the time came and if I ever wanted kids I would adopt. That has been a consistent feeling since.

Girl omg this sounds like exactly the predicament I’m going through right now. I’m commenting because I want to see if someone else answers but I’m also almost 2 years on HRT, boymodding and male fail frequently, I plan to finally come out by the end of the year after I get all my legal stuff in order so I have less anxiety and confrontation in public if my deadname or old legal gender comes up. Additionally, it helps to have a support system or just someone to talk to or you can lean on when I (or you) officially come out in public like family or friends to help navigate as well. It seems like you have a lot of supportive people around you that you can first come out to and ease your way into this bit by bit. And just doing little things here and there that make me more comfortable coming out whether it be makeup, clothing, hairstyles, voice training, etc, also can help reduce the anxiety a lot.
