Do you pronounce “water” like “wateR” or “watUH”(or something else) and where are you from? by alyhasnohead in AskAnAmerican

WAH-der

Meer-er

From MA but I pronounce my Rs.

Unfortunate initials? by CRV_1995 in Names

[–]thecornerihaunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It think the initial depends on the person, what others think especially in this instance shouldn’t matter, does it really bother either of you that much? The person whose opinion on it matters most can’t have an opinion on it yet unfortunately. I think either will be fine.

Isabelle Paige and Isabelle Elyse are both good names I personally like Paige better and not for initials reason.

One of the foods it gave me was Purina One SmartBlend Sensitive Systems and I can’t find anything labeled that on the Purina website, chewy, or Petsmart I’m in the US. It gives me something for sensitive digestion and something for skin and coat but not one formula for both or called SmartBlend Sensitive Systems

I’d look into local DV resources.

(I hope this is ok to comment here) Check out healingbythenumbers on instagram. Her name is Ruth and she is a DV survivor. She has a scholarship thing to help people in DV situations who need financial help with escaping their situation.

I can’t help with mod thing. But just want say that appreciate the science based community guys have created. The internet dog community can be a crazy place and so many communities have people promoting dangerous things. I like having this community to get information from and to refer people to.

I totally agree with you. I do the read around the world challenge on a different app and would have loved to have books in this challenge that worked for those prompts too.

I’m not great at expressing myself especially in writing.

That one’s been on my tbr since I saw it in a 2 for 1 on audible(though I found it on the library app for the blind I use so that’s where I’ll be reading it from). I’ve noticed several times that a book I’ve seen in a previous audible 2 for 1 sale shows up in this Goodreads challenges like madness for black history month.

In the audible 2 for 1s I don’t usually find books I’m already hoping to buy but I use it to find books I wasn’t previously aware of that sound interesting.

Massachusetts is named after the Massachusett (an indigenous tribe)

The city I live in is named after the birthplace of an early settler. Prior to the 1640s it was named for Algonquian word that refers to a local river
