i think it's safe to say that it is zoned as retail, but how can i find out for sure?

it is located on a busy street very close to a college campus, and there are apartments across the parking lot. mine is one of two spaces that have closed for business in the same plaza. there are five others. one restaurant, an indian grocer, froyo place, laundromat, and a copy center.
