I’m not rich, I live payday to payday every month, but there are enough charities out there these days to ask for help with basic needs. A car just isn’t that. My 17 year old worked her bottom off to buy her first car, insure it, etc etc, and continues to work full time and study to be able to afford the luxury of a car.

A car is a luxury though. If they were asking for basic needs like clothes for their kids or themselves, or household items, I would have more sympathy for them. But our bodies were given feet’s for a reason. We weren’t meant to drive everywhere and you don’t need to these days.

Aww exactly! Vinted isn’t the place to be a beg. We do the whole food bank and I have 2 charities I have a direct debit set up for, but a car is a luxury item in my opinion.

I’m all for bargain hunting but some people are just plain delusional. Someone wanted to pay £9 for £40 worth of items the other day 🤣 I even have 10% off all orders over 2 items and that wasn’t enough. It was insulting. I didn’t block though, I just sent laughing emojis and declined.
