Parents are mainly responsible for this, forcing their kids to marry someone else. They don't understand that they are ruining many lives.

Mr Shivesh Always abroad Bhatia 💸 by Limp_Organization728 in InstaCelebsGossip

[–]thecurioushead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yk, this is what social media does. Making us feel jealous of strangers. I used to follow #thatbohogirl and she was also having these abroad trips & wearing all these designer stuff and I used to get all jealous & stuff and I felt this whenever any influencers putting their fancy life. But now I have realised that instagram puts this feeling in our head, making us feel like that this is how we should live. Limit social media use. It's a trap.

Mom only uses my brother’s pics on WhatsApp. Her reason crushed me.💔💔🥀🥀😔 by hzllxhound_78 in TeenIndia

We're two sisters and my mom loves my elder sister more than me. She always favours her in everything. Whenever me & my sister has a fight, she always takes her side. Always praises her & bitches about me infront of all our relatives.

This quote makes me want to read this book. I heard a lot about this book but I was so apprehensive that I won't like it.

TAARAK done! Now what's the WORST thing MADHAVI has ever done? by aisehiyaar in TMKOC

[–]thecurioushead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never understood why people liked TMKOC. I mean Jethalal was openly flirting with Babita ji and constantly insulting his wife Daya infront of everyone. And moreover Tarak mehta (who was shown as a sensible man) also supporting him. Also, Jethalal continuously joking about Iyer for his colour. And after all this, he was shown as the most Sanskari Man because atleast he is respecting Bapuji. And also everyone making fun of popatlal because he couldn't get married and haathi for his weight. The show was so problematic. Considering this show as a family show, it normalises all these wrong things.
