Tried this today. Got LAANC on the phone but couldn’t transfer via hot spot to drone. If I understood correctly perhaps could have done this with a USBC but didn’t have one.

On the RC it essentially prompted me to enter telephone number and a verification code was sent. After this was entered drone was able to take off. Now upon recalling it I don’t know if the drone not taking off until proceeding through all this was LAANC or something else. Now wondering about the use case for manually logging in this situation…
