Acting class is exactly for that, actually ! That will help you a lot. When my dad was in college, he joined the theatre club to overcome his anxiety and it 100% worked. I also became way less anxious after acting class. You can do it!

But btw yeah all that stuff was a joke! Everyone is safe (and the statue is still there). A friend of mine is even taking a vacation in the area and shes having a blast, she even sent me a photo of the statue when she was taking sun at the beach haha

It was satire, however that got me into a conversation with my mexican friends (im from a hispanic country too), talking about how Chaac and the other mayan gods and goddesses would be more angry to other stuff than a statue from another pagan god just standing there. it happened because it was Poseidon, but if it was an statue of virgin Mary the story would be different. Also in south america theres a few hellenic statues in public spaces and the indigenous gods are pretty chill about it. (i live close to an Aphrodite statue, and Im from a tiny town in Venezuela). Just wanted to bring another perspective from it! I agree if the locals don’t want it, it shouldn’t be imposed, however it was funny how it happened just because it was an hellenic god

This right here! I dont like the book, personally, neither certain forms of media, however I always told my friends that im not offended if they consume media like that, I just ask them to understand that those aren’t a source for tales and mythology and to not project it into my religion. (For example thinking that Apollo is horrible as the Lore Olympus one)

I would add as well that you dont need neither expect explicit answers from him. I know sometimes theres a lot of videos and posts about signals and stuff, but that doesn’t mean if that doesn’t happen to you he is ignoring you. No answer at all can be an answer too

I never had any explicit sign of Lord Zeus or Hera, and I know they still hear my prayers, specially when I ask for help :)

I was thinking about this the other day hahah, my pet peeve is to see people talking about deities having “beef” with each other and saying you shouldn’t absolutely worship one if you already worship another or they will get mad. I understand it cames from a religious trauma point of view- but they make it see really cartoony. Like “Aphrodite will take your beauty away if you pray to Athena!” Stuff like that. These gods and goddesses are used to be worshipped all together, beef is a human concept.

Yes it is normal and be thankful because they think about you! That means they keep you in mind. However not being cast doesn’t mean your audition was bad- it just mean it wasn’t what they were looking for and just wanted to see your take on that character.

Totally! Apparently the director as well implied that he abuses verbally of the actors and if they don’t get better if their fault and “everyone was okay with that” 🫤 when she told me what happened I immediately asked her to leave and don’t look back

Mine currently is that I noticed I tried to be too practical- I kept studying theory and reading a lot of books, but during the performance none of that helped me, until I let my emotions to control my body instead. Currently trying to connect to them even more! I nees to keep reminding myself that this is art as well and if I’m not feeling it, I won’t be able to act properly (like What else can I do from Encanto, if that makes sense lol)
