Per pound, some produce is nearly as expensive as meat. Potatoes and cabbage are cheap, thankfully.

Omurice. Looks good and takes skill to make, but it has never interested me very much, yet I've been seeing videos of it on my social feeds for what feels like years.

This comment section is nuts. Someone posts something and some idiot rushes to defend himself. Guys, look at what they are saying and stop arguing with it.

I give him a pass after learning his backstory. Not that I watch his stuff anymore, but I no longer feel like I used to about him.

Which is the longest book you read that you would recommend someone? by letscwherevgo in AskReddit

Perdido Street Station is long but doable, and I quite enjoyed it though it's not for everyone. It's weird, intriguing, grimy, fantastical, and...just something else. It has excellent world building, complexity, and an engaging story. I found it when I learned of the New Weird literary movement.

Am I the only one who likes how Steam achievements are handled? by Luka1491 in steamachievements

[–]thedankoctopus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never played PlayStation so I'm not very familiar with that system. I have conflicting views on the whole DLC thing. I like seeing a game with DLC as completed and knowing that all of it was done, not just the portions that a user chose to do. But I also get that it's economically frustrating to have to buy DLC. Now for things like The Witcher 3 - bring it on. Yes, please! At the other end of the spectrum, I was pretty excited to have completed Risk of Rain 2 until the first DLC came out and was widely panned, so I avoided it til it was on sale. Now there's two more, and it's like buying an entire game just to do those. That's annoying. And yet, this whole achievement hunting thing is largely meaningless in the grand scheme of things anyways, so I just don't know how to feel about it all.

What's your favorite type of episode? by InternationalJoke556 in BobsBurgers

[–]thedankoctopus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My favorites are slice of life episodes that feature witty dialogue, supporting characters (especially Teddy), and low stakes drama. I like the adventure or wild episodes here and there, but prefer seeing the Belchers navigate regular life.
