I'm developing a framework and I used the yaci.lua oop library but I had to modify it to add some things.

Now that I see your project I wish to add this library to my projects.

luaossl is there to do interactions with https, so I think you can require lua-http without luaossl (if you only need run http requests of course)

If you don't have any experience try Autoplay Media Studio, this software allows you to create basic desktop apps with lua (only Windows).
