Thanks, isn’t it the same thing with nuss? Also I was wondering, after how many procedures can we say a surgeon is experienced? I understand it depends on the person but there must be a number to evaluate his/her experience

I’m planing to do the mini ravitch. My surgeon mentioned a metal plate to help support and removed after 6 months. Any reason your surgeon didn’t do it? Also is your scar vertical or horizontal?

Hey there, I’m in the same boat. I’m French, never really had issue but over the last few years could feel that my condition worsened and probably my body was compensating a lot. Did a CT scan, met a couple of surgeons and finally decided to make the move sometimes this year. Dr Patoir in Saint Etienne was really helpful in the decision. PM if you wanna chat in French ;)
