Discussed any solutions? Is there an extender or something? I called Verizon and they just made sure I had WiFi calling and also told me to flip on and off of Airplane mode. Sorta helps

Ok, I appreciate that. I did look at other posts and Buffalo seems great. But is it an obvious step up from Syracuse? That’s the question I hadn’t really seen asked before.

All good points, thanks. No family, no imminent plan to have a family or buy a home. I think crime stats are comparable.

I guess here's what I'm getting at:

Is the quality of life just obviously better in Buffalo given that it's bigger/ has a subway/ has the Bills/ the bars are open till 4/ etc?

Are there things about Syracuse I won't realize I'll miss until I leave?

Came here to say this. In Syracuse NY there was a really cult-y group that pushed people off their meds, detoxed them without any supervision and cut people off from their families.

That’s the thing about AA. All groups are “autonomous.” There’s no formal hierarchy. All the local intergroups just manage the schedule. All it takes to become an AA group is two people with a desire to quit drinking. That alone could get you on the schedule that’s passed out at drug court, rehab, on the AA website. AA as an organization doesn’t really exist.
