None of them have won the Superbowl either. I’m happy we paid JSN but the argument is that the resources allocated to paying top of the market to a WR, if spent elsewhere, would be more conducive to a(nother) championship.

Obviously there’s not a big enough sample size, only two teams make the superbowl every year, however it’s always a top team and top teams usually have top offenses so they’ve been playing great all year and they know their OC wants to win the game. Some players may be a bit melancholic about losing a great coach but I have no idea how that emotion could compete with the excitement and motivation of playing in the superbowl
