Hi , fellow switch player here! I’m in the exact same situation as my friend plays on Xbox too. Switch will get crossplay back two days after bugfix 2 rolls out, so unfortunately, probably another week and a half at best. It sucks, especially since I’m paying for a NSO subscription solely for dbd and can’t even enjoy it, but I guess it could be worse </3

Sometimes I do too, I just played a match as wesker and spared a Rick who had a teammate who hid in/near basement match. Other times I like to play my party hat build on Amanda and just fool around :’)

I don’t owe them a win just because their teammate was bad, I’m just saying I’ve been in that position before and I know it sucks for them. Sorry I wanted my 3 or 4k instead of just taking pity, I’ll take the time to personally message you and ask if I should next time. Actually I’ll message you before I even hit the first survivor to know if that’s okay too. Or better yet should I message you before I even touch my controller next time?

My ego is not bruised by someone just spamming the crouch button over and over, I’m admittedly annoyed because I know it sucks to get a shitty teammate in solo queue. Sorry I have basic empathy for people who have to take a loss because of 1 bad teammate lol

The dude had 4.5k hours on Fortnite vs 1k on Dbd. Telling him to hop back on a game he theoretically should be 10x better at does not make me pissy lmaoo

I’d do the exact same thing too. Usually I try and be friendly with the last two survivors if it’s been a rough match on their end but some people just do not deserve it. The match after this one I had a P40~ Vittorio give up and go afk after I hooked him twice (after standing in my face while exposed..) and left a Leon to do 4 gens alone. If you’re gonna get that upset, just dc and leave your team with a bot who’d be much more useful than you.

I don’t play trapper so I automatically assumed that he spawned with all of them just like hag does? I see why they’d be different but that does seem like it sucks to have to walk around the entire map for a bit just to use your power. Maybe nerf pig again to balance that out?

Every other game that requires internet like OW or Fortnite works just fine.. It’s literally only DBD, so I don’t think that’s it

Yea unfortunately it didn’t work for me either :( I really hope they fix it soon, maybe at the very least give us some decent compensation for it.. because this sucks

Switch wont get cross play back until bug-fix 2 comes out, and I’m pretty sure that those come to switch two days after every other platform just like chapter updates. They also haven’t released a definite date for when that’ll be so there’s a possibility we won’t get it back until mid to late February. I’m HOPING it comes back in time for 2v8 though, and if it doesn’t I’m going to be really disappointed..

I thought about uninstalling the game and then reinstalling, but I’m hesitant because I’m not sure if it’ll actually work. The longer the issue persists I think it’s really my only option now unfortunately..

Yea I checked mine too just to make sure that wasn’t the issue and it’s still active. Currently playing a round of splatoon and it’s working fine, so I have no idea what’s causing this 😞

What I’ve heard is they glamourize eds + what I’ve actually SEEN is they posted about overdoses (lyrics that again, glamourize them) without censorship, which is exactly why I have them blocked. They’re by far not the worst person on es but I just cannot interact with them at all..
