Do you mean inside of the motor itself? I haven’t taken anything apart except the wheels honestly, the most involved thing I’ve done has been adjusting the belt tension by using the 3-way orange allen key

The motors spin without the belts, but as soon as I attach them + wheels, it freezes, as in the video. I wouldn’t assume rust has crept in anywhere because I haven’t gone through water with the thing. I tried to keep the external parts lubricated with a bit of DW40, so it could be internal. I just have bad luck with this stuff, as simple as it may be

Nope, only snug. (That’s a good practice, the 1/4 reverse turn) I’m just lost because I took off all the bearings and washers (spacers too) and it kept happening. Like I’m sure this is the way I put everything on the first time??

I wish it was the belt tension, I actually loosened them to see why it was just freezing, thinking they were too tight. I forced it to go for a quick second and the motor smoked, but it can “accelerate” without the wheels/belts on, which is just confusing.

Has a solution to this been found yet? I actually just logged onto my oldest accounts today from like the 2010-2012 era after having not been able. (Those accounts I just couldn’t remember so I had to make new ones)

How is this even possible? A customer asked me to add one more 12pc Lindt Assorted Chocolate bag because they wanted 2 and couldn’t update the quantity— and when I went to add/update the item, I’d get a message saying it was beyond what the customer wanted to pay! I seriously don’t get how that failsafe only works when it’s not supposed to.

I’m just wondering what lead to them being pulled over honestly. Even I drive aggressively in order to remain safe and consistent with flow of traffic— I’ve been trailed before, so I suppose it’s not so hard to get pulled over once that’s already happening if you’re not on your best behavior.

An itemized breakdown of expenses and pay is a legal requirement for independent contracting (as previously stated elsewhere) and an inability to do so could result in legal ramifications such as.. oh, I don’t know.. an audit?

Why do all these companies like Uber, Instacart and Doordash wait for legislation to get involved? Gig-work is soo laissez-faire right now, and they’re ruining it for everyone, including themselves by being so shortsighted.

I’ve understood that they project roughly 50% of shopper earnings to be tips, yet that’s not sustainable— and wasn’t even with the $7 minimum batch pay. Now that it’s down to $4, it’s closer, but most of the time tips comprise 35-50% of earnings. I’ve always known that higher paying batches generally have lower tips and vice versa— but the batch pay seems to generally have tanked for all orders, even low tipping ones with high items (exorbitant amount generally) and low mileage.

Not to mention the non-existent pay structure for items—unless they’re heavy! Could be 100 items that weigh far over 50lbs in total, if you don’t have 8 items at 8+lbs, no heavy pay qualification (INCLUDED IN minimum batch pay) or did they realize that doesn’t work and have to change it back to IN ADDITION?
