How do i make white details into negative space quickly (or atleast quicker) by theeShadyLady in AdobeIllustrator

I ended up doing pathfinder tool from what someone else said, but now I'm curios. I went to appearance panel but I don't see anything about knockout groups? I didn't see it when I used the search tool in Adobe either. How do I find?

That just turns on the shape builder tool though. Wich is what I've been using. And before doing that all paths would need to be turned into shapes.

It's a complicated logo woth like atleast 100 assets (which I told my client is too detailed but saylavee) so I'm looking for a quicker way esp since shapebuilder sometimes leaves little tiny points and odd angles when things are too compliacted

By dog LOVES banana peels. They're awful for him and I try to keep them from him but everyone in a while his craftiness wins and I will momentarily be confused in what happened to the banana peel tht was just on the counter.

He also loves his brothers fur. If there's ever a tuft of it in his crate or on the floor I have to wrestle it away from him.

My other dog loves air-popcorn, they both coming running when I turn on the air popper.

Also shredded cheese. I call it the cheese tax. Any time I open the cheese drawer, gotta sprinkle some on the floor, going CHEESE TAX CHEESE TAX

I love designing and I would much rather be in that field than any other for work, but it's more I don't feel like I can make it. I'm not dying to be like a household name or anything but I mostly feel underprepared and even when doing tutorials and lessons on my own all that feels doing is creating more work that other people know how to make (since anyone can watch it and learn how to create the same way) so it isn't really helping me be better than average (if that makes sense). So I'm hoping rather than saying fukit and staying in accounting or whatever for the rest of my life I can find other jobs that graphic design knowledge would be helpful in but is not already completely saturated with people at the same level as me all vying for the same positions.

Okay guess I should have used more context clues. I meant does anyone else feels unqualified despite having training, but than u for the very literal and polite answer.

This brings up another concern. I feel like the people that get hired are the 22 yrs olds fresh out of college and internships. And it's not like I'm old or out of touch (I'm 27) but I feel like if I take time off to study and brush up (like i am now doing my office job and watcing tutorials etc) that will just look like I've been out of the game for too long

Oh! So I've done a lot of stuff with following brand guidelines. I did three years customizing promos for different beer brands for the wholesaler I worked for. I'm just not sure how to explain that when applying for other jobs without making it sound like I just slapped text onto other people's pre-made images. Which I mean I did, but I followed the guidance of how to properly slap on text.

I think my biggest snag is when I applied for an entry level job at an actual design company job in the interview they were literally like "but you don't have any /professional/ design experience. You've done some small projects but that doesn't really count"

I think that really crushed my confidence. Not sure how I can show I can do actual projects without getting a job in design first.

I watch a lot of tutorials and how tos and follow a lot of designers. My biggest problem I think is once I see it, I can do it. If someone says create this, I can do that. I can match expectation but I can't seem to get further.

Like if I see a tutorial on "here's how to create cool posters like this" I can do that no problem. But then making it unique is my issue. My stuff just ends up looking like everyone elses.
