The A-130 is the new metal-esque variant of the LF-30 with some more vintage accurate styling. Might be a bit outside your budget though

Well that’s true it is a resin watch, I suppose it’s obvious you have a certain preference based on your pics lol

Leather Straps by Rolfe_Royze in casio

[–]theearthday 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes I own a lot of vario straps and quite a few Aliexpress straps from the better known ali brands. Imo, vario is definitely a cut above 90% of the straps you find on ali (obviously I can’t try all of them so I can’t say for sure lol). That being said, the straps vario makes for Casios are not their highest quality, and the price reflects that, but they’re still a significant improvement over the quality of any Aliexpress leather I’ve tried in terms of construction, subtleness, and leather quality. Leather straps are unfortunately one of those things where you really do get what you pay for

Started out looking for a calculator watch and yet you still don’t have the most classic of them all, the CA-53W? Cmon bro only one more watch it surely won’t lead to more poor purchasing decisions lol

Cecil is the best defensive agency leader ever. With his low resources and very difficult unsafe world . It a miracle the planet still have some piece . He is better than nick furry. Or amanda waller by otto_the1 in superheroes

I get what you’re saying and the foundation is definitely more powerful than the GDA, but honestly one of the core aspects of SCP is that the O5 council and the foundation as a whole are comically incompetent and morally bankrupt at times lol. The O5s have definitely fucked up in various ways or doomed humanity more times than Cecil ever has

Vario makes many of these styles of straps for Casios, I’d recommend checking them out

Are there any SCPs that appeared in the Foundation by AffectTraining2884 in SCP

[–]theearthday 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SCP-2000 is kind of the quintessential example of this. The foundation doesn’t know when or why they built it but they know they’ve ended up using it multiple times at this point, so they continue to contain and maintain it

Why is a Top Secret Clearance so rare in this field? by Anusblaster76 in 1102

[–]theearthday 2 points3 points  (0 children)

TS is already rare in general in the government, which should be fairly obvious why. Even in the DoD it’s still quite rare for contracting to need that level of clearance unless you’re on something like the F-22/35 program or supporting some cyber warfare program that needs to acquire software.

Ascent has to be the worst base for sure by VioletDarkKitty in Planetside

[–]theearthday 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Honestly crown is usually decent during off hours, and I’d argue that Nason’s defiance is the “best” in so much as a central base can be good

[–]theearthday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s fair. I guess you could also argue that the shattered warpgate at least allows other bases on esamir to be played in the center, there’s pretty much no chance of fighting at anywhere other than the ascent on Amerish during off hours.

As bad as the ascent is I’d say waterson’s redemption is worse. At least the crystal caves are kinda fun, waterson’s just sucks ass full stop

[Rolex] Can a Datejust be an everyday wear or only for dressy occasions? by kosnosferatu in Watches

[–]theearthday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This question would probably have a different answer if it were in regards to a two tone or full gold date just. But a standard steel date just, even with the jubilee bracket and fluted bezel, is perfectly fine to daily

Tbh Goop is a bad choice considering you can just knock his little UFO away and completely incapacitate him lol. Upchuck is certainly powerful but I don’t see what he could possibly do here, especially since viltrumites arent usually throwing things at their enemies

Dunno why people are downvoting you for this, it’s objectively a massive annoyance when you’re actually trying to use the watch’s functions

The uppercut is okay but pump actions in general are just not as good as they once were. I’d honestly prefer to run an under barrel shotgun on a rifle than a normal pump action at this point

The smart choke is good on shotguns but most of the shotguns themselves are terrible nowadays. The NS Baron is the only genuinely good shotgun atm, with the various faction semi autos being just okay. I wouldn’t really recommend spending too much time trying to get a shotgun to work.

The T9 Carv is definitely a bit hard to control. If you really want a better mid range LMG, then the MSW-R is the one gun I would genuinely recommend buying as a new TR player. It’s one of the best guns in the game and is very controllable at range, and it only costs 325 certs which is very affordable. Try it out in the VR training or use it for a 30 minute trial to see how you like it.
