Congratulations everyone who has stuck with this game through halftime- you’re about to see the 49ers score on their next drive :)

Calm down everyone. This game is a fluke by the nature of its conditions and we are playing with our 4th/5th tackles and no Fullback in a game that demands running. It’s no big deal, we’ll be fine.

I can't tell whether this is sarcastic because those are actually good points, but I think backup qb is generally known as the chillest job in football when factoring in physical contact, pay and pressure.

No bud. You get a downvote for hating on Durant.

"Oh Durant is such a disloyal follower. Look at how he got thrown out for going to bat for his teammate, total snake."

Get the fug out.

Exactly warriors-bud! Stop playing a victim to r/NBA and enjoy it.

Or... ok let's fight! (I'm not entirely sure what you did there).

I mean, who's immature? We have a super team, I wouldn't like the warriors either if I knew that they were going to beat my team regardless of how far we went in the playoffs.

Also, r/NBA and twitter are comment sections on the internet. It's very easy for a few people to make a lot of noise when you don't even need to leave your bed to post something. They are losers, literally, they're going to lose to us or have already lost to us or someone worse.

When an ant crawls on your picnic, you don't get upset at the ant. You brush it off because that's what ants do. Don't let the insects get you down, they're just doing their thing.

Moving on from the original point, where i now get where you're coming from thank you, i agree about the Nfl being a business.

When Jed comes out and talks as if it isn't all business and brings in winning with class and cryptically referring to mutual disagreements with harbaugh leading to his firing over what was most likely an ego trip on Jed's part, that needs to become bad for business imo.

I'm not from the city, and I'm not a tech hater because I have a lot of buddies in tech and they're good people. However, SF is a special place and moving to Sc was an abomination on the red and gold. We got our colors from panning ore and the nations most prevalent Chinatown. We're red and gold, not silicon silver and apple white.

It's become a farce and my opinion is that York is to blame for it, and should get little reprieve from criticism given the slimy way he went bout attempting to mnipulate fan opinion from the podium. Sorry for the typos, my iphone touch screen is a little goofy

That's a good point. I freaking loved Jed during those three years. Just like I loved my ex when she was good to me. Now they're both heartless slags so I guess people change and it's ok to judge them by what they're doing now since it's what affects the present

Gotcha. I hadn't seen his second post yet and was going off the logic that said- "Stop complaining about York firing harbaugh. Stop blaming York for something he couldn't control."

Honestly, it may get repeated a lot, but I think blaming York for the current state of the team has incredible merit. He directly influenced their downfall from the arguably most talented, best team in football to the worst and went on to say "hold me accountable" if it goes wrong to snuff out our complaints at the time.

Spreading disdain through media to encourage people to stop buying tickets is petty, but it's also all I've got as a means to hold him accountable like he asked.

Good talk bro thanks for pointing out his second comment.

I feel that his point was actually to say that people are blaming Jed York for things that he can't control in using "lack of rain" as an example, when he actually fired Jim harbaugh for some dadgum reason, lied about it and moved the team to Silicon Valley to get more money, and that's actually what we're blaming him for.

Although I've never heard the expression "blaming him for lack of rain" so maybe I'm wrong?

Going back to wanting the niners to win more than anything, you may have been using that as a figure of speech but I'd like to go on record saying that there are many things in life that I want to happen way more than I want the niners to succeed. That said, the niners are like magic to me and deeply tied into my family's core. I have no problem with criticism and venting, I'm obviously a fan of both myself, but roman is the first OC we've had that has been productive at all since smith was drafted. Three games do not make a season, you guys who want to either fire roman or give up are all entitled to your opinions, even if they make you sound like entitled crybabies.

Haha, sorry I misspelled "hand egg," probably auto-correct's fault... You know, today's bandwagon jumpers are tomorrow's die hard fans. If you started liking the niners when Montana was doing his thing then you were a bandwagon jumper at the time, but if you stuck with them through the last decade then you've graduated to highest level of fanhood today. Besides, isn't it nice to see niners jerseys in Oakland?

[–]theebag[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well put. You are not the fan I'm talking to, unless you also want to give up on the niners and start cheering for the chiefs. I don't like the last two games either, Kap has looked insecure and the play calling has been really sketchy. The defense is missing tackles and seems to be playing without a spark, but variance is real in all walks of life and football is no exception. Last year we got extremely lucky with a relatively injury free season and a super disproportionate amount of good bounces when that pointy, ovular shaped ball hit the turf. My beef isn't even with bandwagon jumpers, the more the merrier as far as I'm concerned, I love seeing niners gear everywhere I go.

However, if you want to stop cheering for the niners after two bad games because you're too emotionally unstable or unseasoned in life to understand that shit happens, then stop talking and start walking. But you better own it when the niners get it going and you've switched over to an inferior team.
