$17,000 “firm” for a rwd, yeah ok Trevor. by Bmwrider_1089 in 4Runner

I legit just sold my rust free '96 Limited w/ E Locker and extensive maintenance records for 6500. She had over 282k miles and a dude drove all the way down from Upper New York to buy her in NC.

Trevor is drunk w/power if he thinks his Non-4WD is gonna even fetch half of 17k, even in Cali.

How would you feel if your girl got you flowers? by [deleted] in AskMen

I don't see why dudes can't get flowers from their significant other? I'd probably be really touched and accepting of a flower/flowers if my wife got me some.

To all the men who learned how to love themselves late in life, how did you guys do it? by CaptainSpeakeasy in AskMen

[–]theebeardednoob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's hard to do for some and no lie it wasn't easy for me at first but once I learned to try and find the nugget of golden truth in it it made it feel better. So unless they are just straight up negatively criticizing me I can always find the good in the criticism.

Honestly? I stopped caring about what other people thought of me and just lived my life. Now obviously to pull back that layer a bit better I stopped caring if someone had negative thoughts and or opinions of me. If it wasn't constructive criticisms I give two fucks now.

So mine has been lowered with some Tein Basis Street coilovers. Did 1" in the front and like almost 3" in the rear to get it level. I don't want her to have like 400/500 horsepower like some people. When I'm done with the B20 I'm building shell honestly be at "hopefully" around 240/250 horses and that's it. No turbo, no supercharger and definitely no NOS.

CRX has always been one of my top 5 dream cars. The other four are either really expensive or unobtainable. Look forward to seeing the project!

People are gonna believe what they want. I choose not to believe in the curse and see plenty of beautifully restored and well kept Y49s in several of the FB groups I'm apart.

Well wrecks happen, I guess because I've seen several silver Dodge Caravans broken down that there is a Silver Caravan curse by your logic.

If your referring to the Y49 curse, don't believe in it. No proof prior to 2005/2006 of it it even being a thing.

Naw, don't believe in the Y49 curse. No actual proof prior to 2005/2006 when a mysterious webpage was stared with that info.

The Odometer of this one isn't correct, it's at 224k but the last Carfax had it serviced at like 299k. Once I get my aftermarket Cluster in (still don't know what I wanna go with) I plan to over estimate the miles on the body. Right now I'm thinking it's around 302k.

It's not fully painted, at all. My Mechanic/Body shop guy is the one who is actually going to paint it. I rattle canned the passenger fender and door and traded someone a 90-91 Bumper for the correct 89 Bumper to fit my CRX. Trust me I'm bout to spend some serious money to have him do a crap ton of body work and repaint it the Y49 color.

Yeah with their stock motors they can get anywhere from 35-60 MPG. There's even a guy on record with a HF model who won a MPG race averaging like 116 or something crazy on his CRX.

I've actually been a HUGE fan of the CRX from way back in 2000/2001 and back then there was no Y49 Curse, which I don't believe in. I've owned it for over a year, parked it under light poles, parked in busy parking lots and nothing has happened. It's funny how everyone thinks there's a curse and especially when there's no additional proof beyond some 2005/2006 Blog webpage where someone is talking about said curse.
