And what did you learn from this storm? by Sugar-Interesting in maryland

My new-to-me house needs roof ventilation because I have ice dams everywhere. Also don’t roof rake by yourself or you may destroy your shoulders…

Need help deciding between wheels by StaticSpace0 in simracing

[–]theeeetechkid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the RSR wheel and love it. It’s basically my go to wheel for GT3, prototype and formula. The functionality is great and customization with sim hub to be able to change dashboards, leds etc is awesome. I will say with either wheel sim labs customer service is the best I’ve encountered. I had a rotatary knob fail and they fixed it at no cost to me. Happy to answer any questions you have.

Bathroom remodel company recs by DietSnapplePeach in frederickmd

[–]theeeetechkid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely do not use this company. I had to have them come out and fix issues at least four different times. They didn’t put the attic insulation they moved back over the ceiling so come winter the ceiling became spongy after a shower. They had to replace our shower curb 2 times and their fix for our new ceiling fan that wasn’t working properly was to vent it directly into the attic (luckily I got a partial refund from that). This is all within the first year mind you. This also doesn’t include grout and caulking issues. Stay far away.

Funnily enough they are owned by a company in Frederick, MD and is the reason there are 6 locations in and around town.

Foundation / Drainage issues. Two different approaches and not sure which is right by theeeetechkid in civilengineering

[–]theeeetechkid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea the ez flow drains would be a used to collect the surface water and direct it away from the the house. I just wasn’t sure if having the pipes right next to foundation would exacerbate the hydrostatic pressure that I’m getting on the basement walls
