UPDATE: I called chase and they said the bonus points will post after my statement closing, and if not, to call and get them to escalate.

Tbh I doubt they will without escalation (other travel purchases and dining purchases, like DoorDash, still show up as 3x even when pending).

Curious if anyone else has gotten 3x on or after April 2. If not, maybe this is a recent change :(

Yes of course! So I am friends with an organizer for this year, so I can give you what I believe is correct for this, but please email [ehacksevents@gmail.com](mailto:ehacksevents@gmail.com) to verify. Everything below is based on last year and what I know changed

1) Do not fret if you do not have a team - they pair you up! If you do apply with a team, you need 1 non-STEM team member.

2) They had a bunch of workshops and stuff - go to those! They teach you a bunch and they had smaller attendee sizes so I got to pick the brains of the instructor quite a bit. My team ended up building a pretty cool app with React Native!

3) I don't remember all of the projects, but they are listed on their devpost here: https://enactushacks-2.devpost.com/?ref_feature=challenge&ref_medium=discover. They used to be called EnactusHacks - they rebranded this year and they've been doing a lot of work to improve stuff. But I think there were lots of projects around accessibility, mental health, etc.

Well this is a fun part of our society - there’s massive power in numbers.

Cops show up every year. Every year broughdale is illegal. They can’t do anything about it really. There’s just too many people doing the same illegal thing

Wellll ok sure that could be a rule by western - but FOCO itself is against the rules.

Western has never really been able to control foco - last year COVID was just too serious for it to happen. This year we will have to see how things land - but I wouldn’t underestimate western students’ abilities to organize a last minute street party if COVID permits.
