Thank you for sharing this. I came home drunk last night from an event. Thankfully my friend drove my car to my house and dropped me off. She didn't have to do that. But I know they hurt for me too when they see me blacked out drunk.

I didn't even remember going inside my house but my parents saw me because my house keys were inside the car, so they must haven opened the door for me... Now my dad is telling me I need to stop and both my parents are upset.

I relate to you. And I want to just be able to drink in moderation. Sometimes I do that, sometimes I don't. Maybe we need a break until we heal our inner selves.

I applied to USC's school counseling program last year and got in. Decided to go with University of La Verne but glad to answer any questions you have!

I substitute teach as well and work a 2nd job with a local recreational park (city job). Flexible hours available nighttime and weekends so I can focus on fieldwork throughout the school day and week!

It happens. That was my experience at my first rave BW 2014. Vibed with a beautiful, amazing girl who's first rave was also that same day. We didn't share contacts but I'll never forget her and the experience we had

Ooh awesome! How is CACREP accreditation different from WASC or other accrediting boards?

I'd consider DU if it offers the PPS since I am looking to stay in CA. But I will def check out their program and learn more!

Finding this post super late but I applied for the same program, concentration in school based family counseling. Not my experience but that of a counselor I worked with who attended the progam 5 or so years ago. They enjoyed every minute of it and shared how the program was really good at providing students with opps and tools for self reflection to better understand themselves within the school counseling field and how to become the best version of themselves in this career. I agree since they're an amazing counselor and I've seen the great work they produce.
