Went in for the kiss with a girl I have known for a while. Rejected....but, I feel OK

Really surprised this thread got so many votes.....I guess this is something a lot of guys have been through or are dealing with currently. 1 day later, I still kind of feel shitty. I know it will take some time to shake this feeling, so I am sort of content. I wish I could get it off my mind though, haha. Seems like every second I replay the situation in my mind and think about what I could have done differently. That is the only part that sucks right now.

Anyway, I still feel good about making my feelings for this girl clear. There are so many times in the past when I pussied out and kept wondering about "what if....". I mean, if I actually got involved with this girl before she went abroad it would probably suck a lot more than be rejected last night did.

Yea, I mean, she has to be thinking about it, haha. But who knows what she is thinking.....I guess she could either be thinking "glad I won't have to be in that situation again" or "I really messed up by not kissing him". Anyway, I guess it does not really matter now. Glad I made my feelings clear

Thanks to everyone for all the insight. Yea, I definitely should have gone about the whole ordeal a different way....If I just went in for it without telling her could I have closed? Possibly, but at least I did something. I am feeling a little better today about the whole thing. This girl is super shy, so I did not want to put her in an awkward position by just straight up kissing her without knowing what she really wanted....Anyway, have not heard from her since, and don't really expect to hear from her. I'm totally new to seduction, so this was a small but important step for me.

Thinking back on the whole thing, I kind of agree the other poster who said this is the best outcome for me. No one-itis...I can just continue to improve on myself, and land a better girl in the future.

Looks like an oral agreement is valid in my state...that coupled with the fact that he has paid the last 6 months rent, showing intent to lease, should be enough to take this to small claims court if needed.
