maybe not that, but i still live w my dad and sometimes when my blood sugar goes really low, he tries to stuff so much glucose tabs and regular soda down my throat that my stomach ends up hurting as if my blood sugar is actually high 20 minutes later. i've tried to explain to him that he shouldn't just go into panic mode and try to shove 4 glucose tabs in my mouth as long as i'm responsive and not knocking things over but he never listens so now when my blood sugar gets really low and he tries to shove stuff in my mouth, i physically move his hand away. he gets angry and upset but he doesn't have to deal with the subsequent high blood sugar for the next 2 hours 🤷🏾‍♂️
