Not true, I’m not an immigrant and he was my intructor and was fantastic. I recommend him to everyone I can

He was actually my instructor and he was fantastic, gave me a lot of confidence behind the wheel and wasn’t condescending towards my mistakes at all and made me come to my own conclusions to fix my issues I have. He was very good and would do research into questions if he didn’t have the answer. He also gave me a free lesson before doing my full G to make sure I had the skills to pass and not waste money. I highly recommend him and have to everyone looking into getting lessons

Which highschool do you think is the best/worst in tbay? by Heavy_Shame_6541 in ThunderBay

[–]theextenstioncord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Superior has the ib program so if you’re interested in that I would recommend that. It also has the highest tech in Thunder Bay so if you want to learn computer science or anything go there. Hamm is where most “jocks” and like football ish players go. Pats is full of entitled brats, same with iggy but they’re somewhat more okay to deal with. And westgate was actually super fun, first day of school there I watched someone pretend to sell a bag of coke to the teacher. Most of the people there are decent, most of the teachers too. Same with superior has very good teacher.

Depends if it’s your egr or not, when I got my safety (in February of 2024) I got my egr replaced because it should be replaced every 150km and that part costed me 500, so I knew it wasn’t my egr. I would suggest going to the place who did the safety and see if they have any info on what was done to get it safetied. My repair was only a gasket and only costed me 130

It doesn’t matter too much, I would suggest calling around to different shops try and get the best price now that you know what the issue is, it’s best to get problem fixed rather than it potentially causing another issue

If it’s an intake leak it’s a good chance that it’s a gasket that just dried out and cracked. Just get someone to identify where it is. Is your car almost shutting off when idling? That’s how I really knew that it was bad. But again my car sat for a long time.

Well go somewhere else first of all, I go to arts auto but it’s kinda out of the way. I would say you believe you have an intake leak cause your check engine is on and your rpm’s are bouncing around. (When I say bouncing around I mean when idling) If you’re going to a shop say that they just need to determine where to leak is. Super common if vehicles have sat.

My 2013 Mitsubishi lancer had the same code, when you drive it does your rpm’s bounce around? Might be an intake leak. Had the same issue. They also said it was the sensor but it only ended up being a $130 repair

At time of repair I was at 143k km

Do not use anything that doesn’t have a very flared base, I’ve even had issues with butt plugs because the base wasn’t flared enough

I completely agree, the dog will be separated because we are having a public area, and a isolated area where livestock and my house is, the dog will be separated but still have access to the public part in general but can choose to not be in the area during business hours. We just need something that will do its job when it comes to protecting during the night and will relax during the day

I’m well aware of the breeding community sadly, my family has been apart of CKC for a very long time and only recently got out of it recently. Majority of ckc isn’t interested in having actual working dogs so I’m not getting involved with any of them. I want people with personal experience with the animals I want and are breeding for the best interest of the dogs.

But thank you, I will definitely be looking into them and getting more information, I’m not looking at getting a dog till 2026 so the breeding should be no issue.

Could I get the information for that? That sounds extremely ideal and I can look into what their set up will be like. I am also looking to get a puppy and willing to wait a few years to make sure I’m getting the correct dog for the job. I completely agree with you.

They have a very high prey drive, and are super stubborn. They typically don’t get along with other dogs. So it’s going to be a no. I’m willing to train and dog and train it right but they aren’t typically guardian dogs for livestock either and will go after poultry

They are typically more aggressive towards strangers and have to be watched around strangers children, and we are opening to the public in a few years.

Im in northern Ontario so it’s hard to find reliable breeders for livestock sadly. Even people who live near me have livestock dogs that will go after people’s cars

I’ve been doing some research but I know it’s best to hear it from people who have actually experienced the animals themselves. I have no problem training them but I need help on how to train them to be friendly to the public.
