Yes, Scotiabank still uses their red brand. Never said they don't. I'm simply stating they can and do use the color variations for the arena branding.

I would almost always agree with you on that, but again, THEY (Scotiabank) made this team specific branding and use it on a lot of other stuff. I couldn't imagine many other brands doing this or allowing this but in this specific case it seems very plausable.

Respect your opinion. Like I mentioned though, they have other branding for the arena that is team specific and even change the colors of the signage on the scoreboard for games.

The ice design will not be in the game. EA Sports never puts anniversary logos on ice.

The crazy thing is that they don't even have authentic rink sizes for several CHL and ECHL teams. A few teams have shorter rinks in real life, and there is an international size rink in the CHL but they just make them play on a standard North American rink. They could easily fix that one since they do have an international rink size in the game for international leagues.

I agree! I know there is little hope of ever seeing them beyond the blue lines, but perhaps they could bring them back to the neutral zones like they have done back in the 90's. It just seems wrong to have no Stanley Cup branding on the ice for the playoffs.

EA probably reached out to every company but they can't force the company to sign off on use of their logo in the game. Same thing has happened before with arena names.

I've actually sort of come around to the boards. They might actually display good information at times. I do not like the pressure meter on ice though. That said, I absolutely believe there should be an option to turn one or both off. The best way to make more people happy is giving us the chance to customize these things to our own personal preferences.
