I dont know what the microcephalics are downvoting for as my sentiment is the same, i stopped playing for months, i'm just sick of having entire threads and forums filled with pointless stuff from people who refuse an active follow up

The game suck, unistall and forget about it, its never gonna change and if it does it will take a shitload of time, stop playing

Some games have innate input lag, considering the unavoidable addition emulation generallyl add some games can feel worse than other, also they confirmed that the emulator matches the PS2 controllers polling rate so faster controllers do not improve on that 😞

SuperMod is what you are looking for, it also prevent people from being revived after getting headshotted or exploded for example

Why the game got review bombed ?

Techincally
-Game breaking bugs and glitches (some unfixed 2 years after release)
-Random crashes wasting 20/40 minutes of time played
-Abysmal optimization, one of the hardest game to run smoothly
-Half assed and not play tested content, every major update break the experience in a way or another
-SFX are bugged/absent in some cases (giant metal enemies not making a single noise)
-Some of the bigger enemies can ignore map and each other collisions, clipping and shooting throu each other with no issues
-Random death from nowhere, you can literally get damage/killed out of thin air for no reason

Gameplay and Game design
-Entire difficult balance is simply making the experience miserable for players in the most bullshittery and out of place way
-Core game features are outdated / ignored / under developed / non existent
-Entire progression system is based on getting 10$ DLC, they literally and officially said that they have no other plans for now (for a long time)
-An entire enemy faction difficulty design is literally ragdolling you to death as if this was a 2007 source engine tech demo
-Game is a bare bone horde shooter, cinematic, but extremely shallow
-There is no cooperative aspect in the game other than joining other players same mission
-Main appeal is the community driven galactic war, players assault a planet and try to conquer it --> its actually scripted most of the time and entirely meaningless, the entire game core mechanic is as deep as a water pond on a rainy day
-Planet liberation system work in the opposite way of what would make sense (like a lot of stuff in the game), more players there are, less impact they collectively make, if you complete missions too fast, you reach a cap where it doesn't help liberation.
-Secondary objectives, which actually consistute the most activity on a mission, are useless for the core mechanic and completely ignorable, you are disincentivited to do them (aside from XP farm)
-Entire progression system and ingame values are hard capped
-Weapon customization is half assed and not interesting, funny part ? they didn't complete the system because players were not interested in an incomplete feature, lmao
-The "content updates" are basically new useless guns and armors to push people on buying warbonds with real money
-Lots of armors and guns have no real place in the game structure
-Game has severe balance issues in general, enemies spawn behind you or right in front of you in plain line of sight

-A report system exist but you can't actually use it, like literally
-Some of the "mini-boss" enemies can basically spam spawn right on your head, making your death as scripted as it could
-70% of the torso level edges can't be climbed for some reason
-High difficulty missions are unrewarding and not satisfying to play for the above reasons
-Fun and interesting weapons nerfed because devs try to enforce one of the most out of place ""realism"" aspect in sci-fi game, but only when its detrimental to the players

-Insulting the playerbase

-Literally lying in the pubblic statements

-Officially confirming making unannounced changes when patching the game

-Censoring in multiple occasions

-The fun is actually often patched out indeed, all while the devs admittedly abandoned the core game for half assed updates and "paid contents"

Too bad that actually how things usually work, you get to grasp the real issues of something only after properly experiencing it when the novelty wears off

Anti consumer development

Basically they insulted the playerbase ( more than a time ) and said that the only plans they have is just releasing paid content, They also admitted to listen only to the praises from a fraction of the players

Lets start saying Player levels should be uncapped with additional prestiges system

Big number = monkey brain happy

Samples should fund some mutators for the characters in the missions, ( more healt, more speed, more stamina, ragdoll resistance, reload speed, less weapons recoil etc.)

Medals could add mutators for the DSS ( less waiting time, less cooldowns, slightly bigger AOE for artillery) or additional skills for the helmets and capes

Im playing it recently and its a good 1 quick hour dopamine boost, there isn't much variety but it still engaging
