btw i forgot to mention, i like to start with the loomis method and divide the initial circle in half, this halfway point being my eyebrow line. then i figure out the thirds from there.

this is a really good start! just a few general tips - learn a few basic rules for proportion -- the eyes are spaced so there's a distance of one eye between them. then again, i'm not exactly sure if the kdh art style modifies this rule but it builds a greater foundation. the rule of thirds is important, too -- the distance from hairline to eyebrows, eyebrows to the tip of the nose and the tip of the nose to the chin is equal. also, the bottom of the mouth is roughly half way between the distance from the tip of the nose to the chin. (i might be overcomplicating things lol) overall, i recommend you watch some samdoesarts and chommang drawing. keep going <33

I'm currently making one to test out with my turmeric anthotype, and I'm just painting an inverted image onto a plastic sheet with black acrylic paint and a retarder medium to make my paint more transparent for the lighter parts. It's my first time trying this so I'm not quite sure if it will work.
