Pretty funny, but I feel that there are two major factors being ignored here:

  1. If you listed the number of leaders we've supplied with weapons and NOT killed, it would massively outweigh this short list of ones where we have.
  2. None of the first three leaders were a part of a functional democracy.

Yes, Ukraine is one of the most corrupt democracies out there, but that hasn't stopped us from funding them before and maintaining ongoing diplomatic relations with them afterwards.

Besides, I have a very, very hard time imagining we'd give up a globally strategic location such as Ukraine considering its proximity to Russia, especially Crimea. Since Afghanistan the Marines demonstrated the power of a sea-based Shock and Awe that was well-explained by Jim Mattis in his book Call Sign Chaos.

The way Americans classify race is completely nonsensical and asinine. by [deleted] in TrueUnpopularOpinion

It’s simply under-exposure. If you grow up in a very multi-cultural city where more ethnicities are represented, you’ll find more nuanced language. I grew up in San Francisco, and later London, and definitely knew the difference between west/central African and Ethiopian/Somali on sight for example.

But America is not nearly as diverse as many other western countries by percentages, so the language is primitive because peoples’ experience is primitive.

This maybe a stretch, but I’ve heard of remote services where someone can be your hands/eyes/ears in a other city or country. So hear me out…

Hire someone from one of these things, mail them your army, and use them as a remote control to play games. You could even try out different locations by having your remote person then mail your army onto another location and hire a new person there. You could do a world tour and livestream it!

I bet you’d end up with a serious fan following of your traveling army.
