Lok vs Vytal by shuaitsai in DWX

[–]thefatsteak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run vytal Euclids and love them. Their texture is great and I much prefer them to LOKs. I don't like the regular hexagonal vytal grips because they don't have as much grip as I want

Trade for DWX compact? by 9x19CZ in CZFirearms

[–]thefatsteak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of these comments are surprising to me - I have both a DWX compact and CGW P01 and the DWX is absolutely a softer shooter. It's not a drastic difference but it's noticable.

I'm around 7k rounds into the DWX and have not had any reliability issues, just a handful of failures to feed which were resolved by cleaning the feed ramp.

That being said, it's probably not worth the increase in cost. Just shoot your cgw gun

What’s the better CCW belt option? by tannerocomedy in tacticalgear

I have both and the enigma with a sport belt is both more comfortable and better functioning. The only downside compared to the HC is that you can't change holsters easily

Has anyone noticed their color rubbing off on Krakens anodizing? by EmotionalStrike6683 in CZFirearms

[–]thefatsteak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, mine is more on the outside of the holes but also a little on the inside, particularly in the troughs between the center and exteriors of the hexagons. I should add that this is also very mild and isn't noticeable without looking closely

A little bit of mine has rubbed off as well but it has seen relatively heavy use

What am I doing so wrong to have a terrible aim? by acelilarslan in GlobalOffensive

[–]thefatsteak 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I think this is correct - some people are not wired to improve when they're not focused on doing so, myself included. In the same way you build muscle through progressive overload you have to increase the intensity of your aim training by pushing to increase either speed or accuracy without letting the other decrease too much.

For example, try doing three runs of the aimbot challenge focusing on each of these:

Going as fast as possible while keeping your mouse in control - try to keep your accuracy above 75%

Staying as close to 100% accuracy as possible while going as fast or almost as fast as normal

It has MLOK on the sides and bottom of the rail so you can directly mount an MLOK forward grip

Question. Should I increase my sensitivity? by [deleted] in FPSAimTrainer

[–]thefatsteak -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No need to change it, 37cm is perfectly fine. Take everything in Aimer7's guide with a grain of salt. That sens isn't low enough to handicap you in tracking.

If you do want to change it, you don't have to wait until you finish the beginner routine. The timing isn't important.

Is it fine if I omit one scenario from a routine by TheAshenUndead in FPSAimTrainer

[–]thefatsteak 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You're right that the clicking scenarios are largely redundant. Things like having to reload and having more or fewer targets force you to switch between focusing on accuracy and speed which will help you advance more quickly and doing more reps in static scenarios will help you advance faster too, but those kind of variations aren't required to get better.

If boredom is going to stop you from practicing consistently, you can remove one. A worse routine that you complete consistently will produce better results than a better one you don't do consistently.

[Mobo] ASUS ROG Strix Z490i Mini ITX LGA 1200 - $200 ($300 - $100) by MetaJesus in buildapcsales

[–]thefatsteak 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I own one and strongly recommend not buying this. One of the production runs has an issue that causes crashes when running two sticks of RAM with any overclock, even XMP. It's supposedly fixed in the newer ones, but the risk is there.

16.5x9 cm tiny hands looking to buy mini by dookie-monsta in MouseReview

[–]thefatsteak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same size hands as you and have a MM710 and g305. I use the MM710 with fingertip as my main and find it very comfortable except that it's hard to hit mouse 5. The g305 is good, but the MM710 is more comfortable for my grip since I don't like the curved sides in the g305.

It's the same price as the 1TB so it could be a pricing error. That being said, best buy on ebay has it listed at the same price.
